1942 Gebirgjeager G33/40 mauser with ZF41 Scope

Very nice used Matching Mauser Issued with a ZF41 scope
The Mauser is deactivated with a Moving bolt but doesn't dry fire
From what I can see its a nr matching rifle with the correct Bolt for this model.
Its come with an Original ZF41 scope and mount but the Optics need to be cleaned.

This very unusual Mauser 1942 dated G33/40 with ZF41 scope and matching bolt. came from my Own collection
These shortened and lightened version of the K98 rifle, the G33/40 was issued to Alpine ski troops. Fitted with a ZF41 scope it would have been issued to the regiment's marksman or sharpshooter for short distance sniper duties.
I found a website that claims 400 off these G33/40 models where issued with a ZF41 scope, the scope mount is port of the sight base and is made out off one piece and has a WA marked.

The G33/40 with DOT coding was only in production for 2 years, from 1941-1942. It was produced by Waffen Werke Brunn, in Brunn. It was first adopted by the German Army and issued to German Mountain troops (Gebirgsjager), because it was shorter and lighter than the standard K98 configuration.
